How do i sign a filed return?

If you e-filed your return, you already electronically signed your return.  If you mailed in your return, you needed to sign it before you mail in the return.

How do i sign a filed return?

Your State may require you to keep a signed Efile Authorization Form with your tax records.

The form will print out with your return and Filing Instructions.

Rarely a state form is required to be mailed in; the Filing Instructions will denote that.

Here's a listing of States and forms required:

How do i sign a filed return?

If you e-filed your return, you already electronically signed your return.  If you mailed in your return, you needed to sign it before you mail in the return.
