How do i remove the Deluxe from my “cart”?

If you’ve already selected it and moved to the next page, you’ll have to clear and start over.

Your tax situation my require the upgraded version. You can downgrade your current TurboTax version with our clear and start over feature but you won't be able to use this if you've already registered, submitted payment or deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund. The online help also says you have to clear and reset, but I was able to switch back with out resetting by going to "Tax Tools"-> "Switch to Free Edition"
