How do I remove something I've mis-entered?

accidentally checked the self employed box when entering my income. i don't have self employed income.

If you clicked the box during the interview process before starting your taxes, you do not have to worry.  That does not effect your tax return or the information you will be inputting.

If you accidentally entered information as a 1099-MISC or similar, you can easily remove that form by following the instructions listed below.

1. Go to My Account and click Tools
2. Click Delete a Form in the pop-up menu
3. Find the form you want to delete and click Delete next to the form
4. You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete this form, click Yes, delete this form
