How do i launch turbotax from my programs folder? No icon or shortcut downloaded when i downloaded the software.

I just downloaded the 2018 software (PC) and see all of the programs on my hard drive, but there was no icon/shortcut downloaded to my desktop from which to launch the program. I cannot determine from what specific file in the Deluxe 2018 folder to launch the software.

Below are also instructions to add an icon for TurboTax on your desktop.

To answer your question, to open TurboTax from the program folder:

1. Go into Windows Explorer.
2. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\TurboTax\Deluxe2018\32bit
3. Double-click on TurboTax.exe

To put an icon on your desktop, please follow these steps:

1. Go into Windows Explorer.
2. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\TurboTax\Deluxe2018\32bit
3. Right-click on TurboTax.exe
4. From the menu that pops up hold your mouse over Send to  and then click Desktop (create shortcut) in the box that pops up.

I do not have a turbo tax.exe only a tubotax.exe.config or turbotax.exe.config.signature. Both want me to use the web service to find the correct program or to select from list of installed programs - no of which is turbo tax (of course it is installed). Going to the web is like going into a black hole - i have no idea what to look for. I cannot launch ANY prior program 2014-2018.  I am not taking about not opening a particular return. The whole program will not launch.  I uninstalled and reinstalled several times.
