how do I import data without logging into intuit account? why is that even required?

These questions have been asked years ago (see https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/why-do-i-have-to-log-into-intuit-to-import-from-f...) with no answers from intuit or just deleted ( see https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/4648289-how-can-i-import-my-data-without-an-intuit-account)

There is no reason intuit should get between the user and their financial accounts.  This is ripe for invasion of privacy and data leaks from hacks.  It wasn't required the last time I used turbotax years ago.

So this year, I'll be typing it in by hand.  And next year, I'll be shopping for better software.
