You can file an extension, which will allow you to file until October 15, 2025.

This is an extension to file your tax return, not an extension to pay your taxes. You must estimate your taxes due and pay them by April 15, 2025 to avoid penalties and interest.

An extension gives you extra time to prepare your Form 1040 and file it.   It does not give you extra time to pay your tax due.   You still have to pay your estimated 2024 tax due by April 15, 2025, and then you have until October 15, 2025 to finish preparing the tax return form and filing it.
