If you are single, check the box for Single on your Form 1040.

Can you be claimed as someone else's dependent?   You will be asked about that in My Info.   In My Info you can indicate that you are single----and then next answer the question about whether you can be claimed as a dependent.   

Are you asking about your filing status for your tax return?   Or are you really asking what to put on your W-4 for your employer to withhold tax from your paychecks?
