How do i file state tax with multiple W2

same way you filed federal.  as a matter of fact the info on the W-2's should flow to the state return. (make sure to complete state section of each w-2)   or did you get w-2's for different states.  in that case it depends on whether you were a part year resident of multiple states or not.   as a part year resident of multiple states you would need to file a return for each.  properly coding state wages and withholding and answering residency questions.   on the other hand if you are a resident of one state but did some work in another state then you need to prepare a nonresident return for that state and a resident state return for your home state. your home state will tax all your wages but give you a credit for part or all of the taxes you paid to the nonresident state
