How do i file federal only return

When you electronically file, the program asks about the options of e-filing your state return or "Do not e-file my state return now, I'll do it later."

Choose the option "Do not e-file my state return now, I'll do it later." You can then e-file your Federal return only. Later on, you can file the state return electronically or on your own.
