How do I file an extension in Maryland?

This TurboTax Help states:

To file a Maryland extension, apply for one at their Individual Taxpayer Online Service Center or by calling either (410) 260-7829 or (800) 260-3664. This will extend your filing deadline to October 15, 2026. However, if you owe, make sure to print and mail Form PV with your payment by April 15, 2026 to avoid penalties and interest.

Be aware that the final entry may say Transmit my returns now, even though the extension is being transmitted and not a tax return.
