How do I file an extension if my starting business day was in 2023?

It says the date has to be within 2024. My EIN form SS-4 looks like a letter, not a boxed form with numbered boxes (i.e. box 11).

To clarify, what type of business entity is this? Sole-proprietorship (Schedule C) Partnership, S-Corp, something else?

Normally, even if a business is started in 2023, the business files a tax return each calendar year (Jan-Dec).

Did you get an EIN number on Form SS-4? Is it listed on the top right corner?
