I received a w2g for winnings. I also received a 1099misc for the same amount. Checked with the casino and they said they were in error and fixed it. I took that to mean they did not file the 1099 misc. and filed my return with the w2g with the IRS.
Today I received a 1099 misc corrected box checked and zero dollars in box 7 ( original had prize amount in box 3).
do I need to contact the casino and have a new correct 1099 misc with zero dollars in box 3?
today I entered into turbo tax premier the 1099 misc. then entered the 1099 corrected but there is not a place to show it is corrected.
thanks for the help

The corrected form 1099-MISC replaces the original one. The casino has rightly corrected the form and you do not need to contact them again.
As the corrected form shows 0 in box 7, you do not have to report it on your tax return. You do not have to report the original form 1099-MISC either (as it has been replaced by the corrected form). If you have already entered these forms, just delete them in TurboTax.
You just have to enter your form W-2G.
