How do I file 2023 taxes? It defaults to 2024

You cannot use Online TurboTax to prepare a 2023 return.  It can only prepare a 2024 return.   If you wish to use TurboTax for your 2023 return, you have to use 2023 desktop software.   And it cannot be efiled.  It has to be printed, signed, dated, and postal mailed.

You can purchase 2023 software directly from TurboTax here:

Or you may be able to find it at a lower price at Amazon, but if you buy there, be sure you are buying directly from Amazon itself as an authorized retailer.
