What exactly do you want to enter? Are you asking how to enter information about yourself, like your name, birth date, and Social Security number? Or are you asking how to enter a W-2 or 1099-series form by yourself instead of importing it?

The my info interview will ask if someone else can claim you as a dependent.  When you answer no, to that question. TurboTax TT) will effectively "enter yourself" / "claim yourself".

In actuality, the only thing that happens is the box on form 1040, that says you can be claimed by somebody else does not get checked. But the TT interview treats you as a non-dependent, in filling out the other forms.  Since, 2018, when the personal exemption was eliminated, there is nothing you can claim by "entering yourself".

With the tax law change, effective 2018, most dependents will get the same refund whether they claim themselves or not. The personal exemption has been eliminated and the standard deduction increased.
