This is for the "Health Coverage Exemptions and Individual
Shared Responsibility Penalty" form FTB 3853. I am trying to claim a code C exemption, "Short coverage gap".

To clarify, the option for claiming a code C exemption does not appear to be available. The instructions for form FTB 3853 (for some reason only available by email through this page: https://www.ftb.ca.gov/forms/Search/Home/FormRequest/5090) shows 14 letter-code exemptions, A-N, however in TurboTax, there are only 13 options available. If anyone from Intuit/TurboTax is reading, I think this is a 'missing functionality bug' in your product.
Just got off the phone with a representative through the 1-800 number. We did a screen-share session and I showed her the issue. She said she would escalate the issue internally, but advised that I should file a paper return as TurboTax did not currently support the exemption I needed.
