How do I do a 1099c

If you received a 1099C for cancellation of debt, please follow these steps to enter it in TurboTax:

1.  Click on Federal > Wages & Income  [If you're in TT Self-Employed:  Personal > Personal Income > I'll choose what I work on]
2. Scroll down to the Less Common Income section and click on the Start/Revisit box next to Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C 
3. On the Let's Work on Any Miscellaneous Income screen, click on the Start/Update box next to
   Cancellation of debt (Form 1099-C) ... 
4. Continue through the screens, entering the requested information.
