How do I determine taxable ssd amount when on workers comp

You do not enter workers compensation on your return--it is not taxable.  You enter your SSA1099, the 1099R from your pension, and your spouse's income.  The software will calculate how much of the Social Security is taxable.  You just enter the SSA1099 exactly as it appears.  You will see it on lines 5a and 5b of your Form 1040.

Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099

Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R
