Starting last year I started trading binary options via Pocket Option. PO doesn't issue any IRS documents. But I still need to report my gains and losses. Unfortunately, I keep seeing conflicting information on this. Some posts suggest (and maybe this info is too old) to use Section 1256 Investments and Straddles. Other posts suggest using 1099B. On other websites, they suggest Schedule D. I can find only the IRS's favorite horror stories when attempting to research on their official website.
This isn't a business yet because I haven't seen any actual net profit from my trading. Once I get to that point in my trading career, I'll form an LLC and so on. Until then, I need to know how to correctly report my gains and losses via TurboTax. I'm going to assume that they'll be taxed as short-term capital gains.
Thank you in advance!

If you are not in the business of trading options (ie: a casual trader), you would report this activity on Schedule D. In TurboTax, enter your sales activity under Investment Income >> Stocks, Cryptocurrency, etc. >> Other (because you didn't receive Form 1099-B).
