How do I change my self-employed income from erroneously showing up under Other Self-Employed Income to General Income? I've tried & failed to figure out where to Edit.

You can enter a 1099-NEC or MISC as Other Income.

Please follow these steps:

• Wages & Income
• 1099 MISC and Other Common Income
• Select Income from a 1099-NEC
• Enter payer's name
• EIN Number
• Amount you received
• State what it was for
• Click None of these apply
• No you do not have expenses to enter
