Did you already file the return and was it accepted ? And what are you changing from and to ?

You can modify your filing status by completing these steps below:

Sign in to TurboTax
Click on Take me to my return button
Click on the My Info tab (on the left menu bar)
Find your current status (underneath your name)
Click on Edit (pencil icon) to the right of your status
Click on the filing status you wish to change it to and click continue, for the filing status to update in the program.

NOTE: Only if this pertains to changing to the Head of Household Filing Status: After you continue answering the Interview questions about yourself and your dependent, TurboTax will let you know if your situation qualifies for Head of Household.
