How do I change a dependant on my daughter's taxes?

If the 2023 tax return has not been filed then you need to sign onto your daughter's account using the exact same User ID that was used to create the TurboTax online account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

To remove/change a dependent on a tax return you click on My Info on the left side of the online program screen.  Then delete/change the dependent.

If the 2023 tax return has been filed and accepted by the IRS, then to remove/change a dependent the 2023 tax return has to be amended.

The IRS will take up to 12 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return.

Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS.
