You can securely import your W-2 if
your employer is a TurboTax
Import Partner. Enter your employer’s
EIN (Employer Identification number) and the software will determine it based
off that. If not, you will have to enter them manually. To see if your employer is partnered with TurboTax follow these
steps:

Sign in to
your TurboTax account
- Click on
the Take me to my return button.
- Click on
the Federal Taxes tab (on
the left menu bar)
- Click
on Continue,
then Start
- Click
on Work on my W-2 now on
the W-2 Screen.
- Enter
the 9-digit Employer ID Number if
you have it and click Continue.
You
can also import your
1099-B, 1099-DIV, 1099-INT, 1099-OID, or 1099-R into
TurboTax, provided your broker or financial institution participates in
our TurboTax Partner program. If not, you will have to enter
them manually.
