How can you check if you have a payment setup to a state that you owe taxes to?

Print out a copy of your tax file..or save to PDF and look at it there.

There is an "Electronic Filing Instructions...." sheet in the state section of the PDF file....that gives the details of your direct Debit............IF........if you arranged a D.Debit with your e-filed state tax return.

Example below for an Iowa resident. Your state may , or may not allow a D.Debit to be arranged with yoru e-file, but that sheet shows it if you were able to and did arrange it.
