After you complete your federal tax return and you move to the State Taxes section, select Go To Your State Return. TurboTax will guide you through completing your state tax return.

If you've already e-filed your federal return and want to prepare your state return, refer to the TurboTax Help article Can I file my federal taxes now and skip my state for later? for more information.

If you haven't filed your federal return, you can't use TurboTax just to file your state return.  Refer to the TurboTax article  Can I prepare and file just my state return using TurboTax? for more information.
