How can I remove the Lifetime Learning Credit so i can file the basic forms free? I only get $4 from the credit and don't want to spend $39 just to get it.

Don't enter your education expenses. You do not have to enter the 1098-T if you don't want the credit. If you already entered education expenses, delete them. Go back to the Education Expenses topic. On the Education Expenses Summary page click the Delete button opposite your name.
