I just spent a very frustrating 45 minutes on the phone with a TurboTax person. I need to amend my 2017 and 2018 returns. I have the PDF and the data files for those years, but I have a new computer in the meantime and don't have the old versions of the TurboTax applications. I *do* have all of the CDs and the cases they were in and instructions, but for the years 2015-2018, there was no License Code provided with the disks! And my new laptop doesn't have a CD drive. As far as I can tell from other postings, it seems as if I need to have someone from TurboTax put those downloads into my account, but the guy I talked to said he couldn't do that, nor could he transfer me to a supervisor (not sure why, but TurboTax apparently doesn't have supervisors to handle escalations). Can someone please help? Thank you!
