How can I download the software to file my 2023 taxes and I don't have a desktop computer?

You don't have to have a desktop computer.   A lot of people no longer have an actual desktop computer, but have a laptop instead.  You can use a Windows laptop or Mac laptop that meets the 2023 system requirements below.  Laptops run desktop software.  You cannot use a tablet, iPad, etc., however.  It has to be an actual computer.

Or you may be able to buy it for a discount at Amazon, but if you do, be sure it is from Amazon itself as an authorized retailer of TurboTax.

@tyjaha a laptop will work fine.  that is what I use.
