Please follow the steps below to delete Form 8824 in TurboTax Online:Sign into your Online account.Continue past the orange button that says "Take me to my return".Then go to My Account at the top of the page then Tools.Scroll down to "Delete a Form".Next look for Form 8824 in the list and select Delete.Then confirm the deletion.

Please follow the steps below to delete Form 8824 in TurboTax Online:

Sign into your Online account.

Continue past the orange button that says "Take me to my return".

Then go to My Account at the top of the page then Tools.

Scroll down to "Delete a Form".

Next look for Form 8824 in the list and select Delete.

Then confirm the deletion.

If deleting the form does not work because you truly had a like-kind exchange and the Form 8824 is giving you an error saying that there are two assets linked to the same Form 8824:

Go through the vehicle questionnaire again. When it got this screen (see the attached Word doc), click on the vehicle and delete it. Then, continue the screens and at the end run the error check to make sure the error went away.
