HOA grant

Our HOA received a grant from our County to plant trees to help with County stormwater. The HOA used it all for trees, as instructed. How does the HOA report this income/expense on the HOA federal form? Do we just lump it in with HOA annual lot fees? Our HOA is small and only uses annual lot fees for shared road and landscaping maintenance.

Yes.  Just enter it as income and then enter the corresponding expense.  It zeroes it out and you're all set.
