Hello, can you help to see if my state taxes are done right before I submit

I was getting a four thousand dollar refund from federal and a four hundred dollar refund from state. When I added my retirement income I now owe seven thousand four hundred fifty to federal and two thousand two hundred to state. I thought you didn't have to pay state taxes on a state pension.
