1. Health coverage entry - only used if you have a 1095-A from government healthcare. If you don't have that form, nothing is entered in the federal. If you do have it, what are you seeing?
2. SD has no tax but CA does. You need to file a part year resident return if you actually moved there, changed your license, car tags, etc. The program does allow you to file a part year CA return. Maybe you have a form that isn't ready? CA is notorious with their timeline, see forms availability here.
