Health care for dependant
My son had florida kidcare which I paid a monthly premium total for 2016 1744.60. am I able to claim that and if so were.

Health care for dependant
You can claim the medical premiums if they were paid with after tax dollars. They would be included under medical expenses on the deductions and credits section.
Medical expenses are an itemized deduction on Schedule A and are deductible to the extent they exceed 10% of your adjusted gross income (AGI). If you are 65 or over, they are deductible to the extent they exceed 7.5% Please click here for more information: https://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc502.html
