please note that any prior years' returns that were not also stored offline are now permanently gone. Turbotax does not have copies of returns prepared using desktop software, if you need a copy of your prior years' returns, the only source is the IRS for which there is a fee. a transcript can be requested for free

you can also go to IRS website and sign up to download a transcript (may be limited if the file is too large)
or request a copy through the mail without having to file form 4506-T

I purchased TurboTax Deluxe 2023 at BJ’s not directly from TurboTax. I have lic just can’t find program download on internet. I have all my files on an external drive. Just can’t access

Give TurboTax support a call since you have the license code, then might push the 2023 installation filed to your download account at no charge. Good Luck!
