How fast can I get money back on injured spouse form 8379 if I e-file

@haleysobrien irs recived my refund on feb28 was offset completely. Mailed in injured spouse on March 8 I've been calling I finally was told they mailed a check as of Monday June 6

I have filed injured spouse for the last 3 years.. it takes between 11-18 weeks to get it back... I just checked my transcripts and apparently they approved it Friday so I will prob see my check in the mail by this fri or sat....

How do you know they approved it? Do they put an amount instead of 0.00

I filed January 29th and just received a letter yesterday that they have paid off my husband's 2009 taxes with my refund even though I just married in 2014, he is unemployed so all income is mine alone, and I filed the injured spouse form. I'm anticipating that they will take the remainder of my refund for years 2010-2013 as well. So much for the injured spouse form.

Wth. I don't get that injured spouse form is to protect your money that is yours. How can they take it again after you filed? I'm sorry they did that

I just got letter yesterday that says it was approved and I will be issued money. I called irs and was told it can still take up to 11 weeks from when they received the form which was feb 27. Also was told everything happens on Friday all last reports and changed will go in on Fridays. That also whatever way I asked for my income tax (check, direct deposit) which ever will be the same way I will get injured spouse money.

They received mine on 2/26 and I called today and was told it got approved on 4/9 and I should see the money soon. Hope this helps
