Hi,
I came to US around 29 Jan 2018 and started working for a consulting company on a H1B visa. I want to know if I can use Turbotax to file my taxes using my W2 and the bank interest documents.
I did not get an option on the flow to mention that I am on H1B visa.
Please suggest if I can proceed and file with Turbotax?
Thanks,

It depends.
If you were in the USA for less than 183 days in 2018 and did not meet the green card test or substantial presence test during the 2018 calendar year, you will be considered a nonresident alien for 2018. If you are considered a nonresident alien, you can use our affiliate Sprint Tax to complete the 1040NR, since it is not supported by TurboTax.
See this link for more information from the IRS on US Tax Guide for Aliens
However, if you meet the green card test or substantial presence test in 2018, then yes you can use TurboTax to file your return.
Thanks Holly, I checked SprintTax and it determined that I am qualify as a resident for tax purposes.
