Glitch during tax application

We recently tried to file with TurboTax ( like we do every year) and the program said we owed taxes. In no way could we owe taxes. So we went to another tax service. Now I'm not getting the correct refund back. What gives? I mean why does TurboTax say we are getting a larger refund back then what we are getting back from the other tax service now?

So at first TurboTax said we owed, now TurboTax is saying we are getting a refund. Which is it? It's probably too late to do anything about it now but we are pretty flustered about the situation. Because if we are actually supposed to get the bigger refund like TurboTax says then we are out a lot of hard earned money.

Anyone else have a similar problem?

Did you complete your filing with us or with another service?  If it was with us, you may be entitled to a refund.  Please see the Help Article here listed under Maximum Refund/Tax Savings for more information.

Glitch during tax application

I ended up using FreeTaxUSA. But I'll tell you this, I'll never ever use them again. Unlike TurboTax, FreeTaxUSA didn't even try to help me get my maximum refund. Something went wrong and for some reason I'm only getting $176 instead of $1554.

I wish I could have trusted TurboTax when I was filing after the glitch/update or whatever happened.

But I got jipped out of a bunch of hard earned money.
