Getting ready to file says state needs fixing. Says ss # is wrong went in deleted & reentered. Still won't take. What am I doing wrong

Maybe state software is not ready yet. State software programs are not always ready before the feds. Check something like "state availability" in turbo tax. This is not uncommon. There is one piece of MA software for trusts that I need and is not usually available till mid Feb.

Please ensure that your social security number is inputted correctly on all forms that require it. If it is and you are still not able to proceed further, you may need to print and mail in your return. The following FAQ explains how to do so.
