I have purchased the cd version of Premier and have used it for several family members. In my own case, my taxes are a bit more complicated than usual because I sold a rental property in CA. I am non resident in CA. So I have been considering paying a bit more to be sure they are correct.
In doing them as I usually do, I have had fantastic help from your experts. I'm pretty sure my Federal return is ok, it is with CA I am a bit concerned. I think TT is overcharging me for CA taxes! I have fired off a question to the experts for help.
I am getting closer to filing deadline so my question is am I too late to go the on line method and then if I do, will the expert help be any different in form than I am getting now?
If I go that way, can I transfer what I have already done so that we do not have to redo it?

Since your return is done, you need to add TurboTax Live. Then run Review on your return. When there are no errors, a screen will come up to make an appointment for an expert to call you and review the return at your convenience.
With online you can get Live help, but it is about $100 in addition to the cost for online. It might be worth the extra money, or it might be worth it to pay a local tax preparer for help with this one-time event.
You can call [phone number removed] (last year's number) which will hook you up with a TT expert and they can help walk you through the problem that you are encountering. I had used them last year on several tax issues that challenged me. You may have to wait on hold for a while, but the help was instrumental and me being able to submit my taxes.

Thanks for the answer. I know the cost, I was looking to see how it would work. I currently ask questions from my TT account and usually I get a good answer.
If I spend the extra money, I would like to be sure I can talk with the expert, I'd like to know how I would get my data to him/her. I also asked if I can get my current version to him/her to save a lot of time.
