The extension request had to be made on or before April 15, 2025 if the request was being e-filed. You could have printed and mailed an extension request but the the postmark on the envelope had to be no later than 11:59pm on May 1, 2025.

If your 2024 Georgia tax return shows no taxes owed or a state tax refund there are no penalties for filing after the due date. You can use the TurboTax software to e-file a 2024 tax return at any time on or before October 15, 2025.
