Freelance forever if a writer?

Hi ~

Several years ago, I wrote a novel and worked for Rover and therefore had to file self-employed. If I don't make money on the book anymore, but still receive a form from the publisher saying I made "$0," do I still have to use the more expensive version of TurboTax?

Thanks!

If you have no income or expenses from self-employment during the tax year then you do not file a Schedule C for the self-employment and do not need to use the TurboTax Self-Employed online edition.
