Our tax guy had exposed social security numbers, 1040’s in the reception. I was waiting and I was able to read some of them. Really scary to think that’s how he handles private information. Since I’m a returning client he felt confortable to offer to give me a tin number in case I needed a nanny to have more deductions and opened his notary book... of course I declined, gave an excuse and walked out. I’m  very concern about my entire fam information. What can I do ? Who do I report?

If you have concerns about a tax return preparer you may use  Form 1457, to provide the IRS with your concerns.
