Form 8949

I am trying to enter stock sale info but my program is not letting me add a form 8949.

I can override the system and simply enter the net amounts on Schedule D, but I'd prefer not to.

When will this form be available?

Thanks.

To enter stock sales in TurboTax Online, click on the search icon and:

    1. Type in 1099-B
    2. Click on "Jump to 1099-b"
    3. The program will guide you through entering your stock sales

    In TurboTax Desktop:

    1. Go to Federal Taxes tab
    2. Select "Wages & Income", then "I'll choose what I work on"
    3. Scroll down to "Stocks, Crypto-Currency..."
    4. On the screen with "Let us enter your Tax Documents" click on "Skip Import" box at bottom of page
    5. On the screen with "OK let's start with one investment type" Select the "Stocks..." box, then click on Continue.

By the way overrides in TurboTax generally prevent you from e-filing.
