I originally posted this under "Deductions and Credits" which I believe was the wrong place. See below.
TurboTax stated that Form 8606-T would be available today, 01/23/25. After the software update today, that form does indeed look available and ready to file. However, TT does not allow me to enter the information necessary to fill out that form. I have been filling out Form 8606-T each year since 2012 so I know how it works.
In the personal income step-by-step, I have entered all my various retirement income. I then press the "Continue" button. After answering the "disaster distributions" question, I get the same "Any Nondeductible Contributions to Your IRA" question that I've gotten every year. I answer "Yes", then press the "Continue" button and nothing happens. TurboTax does not take me to data input screen where you enter value of your IRAs at 12/31/24, total distributions taken, beginning basis of your nondeductible contributions and ROTH conversions if any. In all previous years, TurboTax automatically took you into that data entry when you hit the "Continue" button. This year it isn't.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Tom

In my test return using TurboTax Desktop, I had the same experience on this screen. However, after a few tries, it did advance to the next screen, Let's Find your IRA Basis.
If you're also using TurboTax Desktop, another option would be to enter your data directly on the IRA Contributions Worksheet in FORMS mode.
If you're using TurboTax Online, close the program, clear your Cache and Cookies and return to that section.
