I'm an unmarried mother, the father of my child is not a U.S. citizen. Do I need to file this form?

Form 8332 - custodial parent

No, that form is only to document which parent is going to take your dependent as a tax exemption. It is really only required as backup and to substantiate your claim to the dependent.
