Form 5695 lines 17a,b,and c all are checked "no" even though I am claiming a qualified energy efficiency improvement. Line "d" does not fill in my address.
Section B does fill in correctly.
According to the IRS instructions for Form 5695 if lines 17a,b,or c are checked "no" then the credit can not be applied. See quote from IRS instructions:
Section A—Qualified Energy Efficiency
Improvements
Lines 17a Through 17e
Line 17a. To qualify for the credit, any qualified energy efficiency
improvements must have been for your main home located in the
United States. See Main home, earlier. If you check the “No” box,
you can't take the energy efficient home improvement credit.
Line 17b. To qualify for the credit, you must be the original user of
the qualified energy efficiency improvements. If you check the “No”
box, you can't take the energy efficient home improvement credit.
Line 17c. To qualify for the credit, the components must be
reasonably expected to remain in use for at least 5 years on your
main home located in the United States. If you check the “No” box,
you can't take the energy efficient home improvement credit.
Line 17d. Enter the complete address of your main home during
2023. You can only claim the energy efficient home improvement
credit on one main home.
I do not want to file unless this is correct!

Sounds like you may have entered a No to a question in the interview for the Energy Efficient Improvement property when it should have been Yes.
These are the interview screens where asked about the improvements and how they should be answered -
All answers were correct. This is a bug in TurboTax. I spent about an hour on the phone with customer support. Fix was to pull up the 5695 form, correct it, then click on upper left corner (file) and click "save". This corrects the form.
