Form 56
Filling out form 56 for intestate estate. I am PR.
1. What to put for decedent name ?
Do I put just the name, or do I put the name as show in EIN paperwork (with ESTATE) after the name.
2. Also what for fiduciary name?
My name or
My name PER REP as show on EIN paperwork?
3. Also if doing just a 1041, do I put just EIN for identifying number or both EIN + SSN? At the top of the form 56?
We should not be doing a form 706. And the instructions for form 56 didn't specify what to put for just 1041.
