Form 4797 Part 2 Manual Entry

I am using the desktop version and need to do manual form entry in form 4797 part 2 but the table is uneditable. Does anyone know how I can override that?

TurboTax has an "Enterable 4797" that allows you to make manual entries. Go to Forms Mode and click the Open Form icon above the forms list on the left. Type in "4797" and wait for the list to populate. Click on "Enterable 4797" to open the form in the large window.

I tried this but that form only lets you do entries for Form 4797 Part III. I was ultimately able to figure out that I could populate part II of the form via the "Sales of Business Property Smart Worksheet" at the top of the non-enterable form.

It's pretty sad that it is two years later, and we still need this backdoor solution to fill out Part II of Form 4797
