Form 3921

I quit my company in 2019 and had to purchase my options.  I have not sold them yet so no gains (or losses) in 2019.  I entered the details in TT but no impact on my returns which I assume is accurate because I did not sell anything and the potential is only on paper.  Correct?

Yes, that is correct.

Depending on the type of option, it will either be reported in your W-2 or not reportable at all.

You will receive a 1099-B when you sell the stocks.
