Form 2555 and supporting document

Hello,

I will have to print out my jointed tax return and form 2555 (Foreign Earned Income Exclusion, as my wife works in Hong Kong) and visit local IRS office because I also have to do first time application of the ITIN with form W-7.

I wonder do I need to provide any supporting document for Foreign Earned Income Exclusion application?

From here: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-credits-deductions/discussion/do-i-need-to-send-any-documents-...

It mentioned e-filing does not need any supporting document, but I am doing a print-out.

Best,

Jake

Form 2555 and supporting document

No, you do not need to include additional information beyond what is on Form 2555.  If additional support is required, the IRS will request it at a later date (this is not common.)
