Form 1116 does not work

I try to enter my foreign taxes, but the amount in the Foreign Taxes section is 0 after I enter the number and click continue. I also can not find the Form 1116 in Forms in My return. 

It worked before I update the software.

@crabwei75 , are you US citizen/resident ( Green Card), living and earning in a foreign country?  or is the credit you are talking about is due to mutual funds having invested in foreign/emerging markets ?   Where did you enter the foreign income ?

I am a u.s resident taking a foreign tax credit for taxes paid on a property sold in canada.   I am trying to fill out form 1116 but the form does not populate or come up. how do i get this form to work for me.

Claiming the Foreign Tax Credit with Form 1116
